Miley Cyrus Scandal : A new Got Milk ad campaign!!
Beleaguered Disney tween queen Miley Cyrus has kept a low profile since her semi-nude Vanity Fair photo scandal erupted a few weeks ago. But now, she's trying to remind fans of her wholesome side.
In the new Got Milk? ad campaign extolling the virtues of drinking cow milk, Cyrus is pictured with a milk moustache in a dressing room. Her ad reads:
Girl Power
Actress by day. Rocker by night. I've got to keep fit to keep up. Some studies suggest that teens who choose milk instead of sugary drinks tend to be leaner and the protein helps build muscle. It's the best of both worlds.
The Got Milk? campaign, which has been running since 1993, is credited with pumping up milk sales in the U.S. after a 20-year slump. According to the Got Milk website, the campaign has over 90% awareness in the U.S.
Recently, Cyrus has said she's not sorry about controversial pictures that surfaced on the Internet of her in a green bra, saying they're harmless. In one photo, Cyrus is smiling at the camera wearing a crop-top while lying across a teenage boy's lap. In another, she pulls down her white top to reveal a green bra.
Cyrus defiantly says: "It was me on my MySpace. Someone copied and pasted [the pix] and said, 'Oh my God, look at this, and blah blah blah.' It didn't affect me. Everyone's like, 'Maybe she'll learn her lesson this time.' Nope."
