New York, NY - Hannah Montana star Selena Gomez going to a top US university next fall and it's part of a scholarship she's won by writing an essay for a contest. Selena's scholarship will allow her to continue with her musical career and obtain training in an advanced musical environment by professionals.
Selen Gomez, who plays Mikayla on the TV show Hannah Montana, was awarded the fully paid scholarship to the prestigious 'Skin Flute Institute' at the University. Her winning essay was published online at her website, later it was re-written and put into lyrics for her popular song, 'Fever Blister Romance.'

Selena, who has years of skin flute experience,will be arriving at Harvard in August of next year and will live in a dormitory on campus.
