Los Angeles: Teen sensation Miley Cyrus has struck a provocative pose in a photoshoot for Elle magazine. In one of the photos, the Hanna Montana star lies draped over a table in a black dress and knee high leather boots.

The 16-year-old has even posted the picture on her Twitter account, urging her fans to go out and buy the magazine.
"Everyone please get my issue of Elle. Every time I do a cover I feel like you all know me better," the Sun quoted her as having Twittered.

Cyrus was recently involved in another picture controversy after photos showing her in a risque pose were posted by her latest movie producer on Twitter.

Miley Cyrus not racist!!

Teenage pop star Miley Cyrus has denied accusations of racism after a picture of the star making a slanty-eyed face surfaced on the internet. She responded by claiming she was "simply making a goofy face".

The OCA -- a group "dedicated to advancing the social, political and economic well-being of Asian Pacific Americans" -- is fuming at this photo of Miley and pals for using what they have deemed an offensive, stereotypical gesture.

The OCA sent us this statement: "The photograph of Miley Cyrus and other individuals slanting their eyes currently circulating the Internet is offensive to the Asian Pacific American community and sets a terrible example for her many young fans. This image falls within a long and unfortunate history of people mocking and denigrating individuals of Asian descent.

Not only has Miley Cyrus and the other individuals in the photograph encouraged and legitimized the taunting and mocking of people of Asian descent, she has also insulted her many Asian Pacific American fans," said George Wu, executive director of OCA. "The inclusion of an Asian Pacific American individual in the photo does not make it acceptable."

"OCA hopes that Miley Cyrus will apologize to her fans and the APA community for this lapse in judgment and takes the opportunity to better understand why the gesture is offensive."

The 16-year-old Disney star, who shot to fame after starring in the Hannah Montana TV series, has been accused by the Organisation of Chinese Americans of setting a "terrible example for her many young fans". The statement also said: "the image falls within a long and unfortunate history of people mocking and denigrating individuals of Asian descent ... the inclusion of an Asian Pacific American individual in the photo does not make it acceptable."

Cyrus responded in a blog entry: "In no way was I making fun of any ethnicity. I was simply making a goofy face." She also said she was sorry if people took the photos out of context, but did not apologise further.

The singer and multi-millionaire might have capitalised shrewdly on her popularity with young Americans, but Cyrus hasn't had much luck with photographs over the past 12 months. A 2008 Vanity Fair photoshoot conducted by Annie Leibovitz showed the then 15-year-old nearly naked, with only a blanket covering her chest. Later that year, images that the singer had taken of herself performing "sexy" poses caused controversy when they were allegedly stolen from her email account and posted online.

All of which appears to have taken its toll on Cyrus, who, in the blog that addressed the photograph, said: "I feel like now that Britney is back on top of her game again, they (the press) need someone to pick on. Lucky me! The press is trying to make me out as the new 'bad girl'!"

Cyrus's next project, Hannah Montana: The Movie, is due out in spring 2009.

Looking in quite the jovial mood, Miley Cyrus and boyfriend Justin Gaston were spotted grabbing up lunch with a gal pal in Los Angeles on Saturday afternoon (January 10).

Laughing amongst one another, the trio popped into City Wok for a little Chinese food as Miley and Justin matched up their outfits with both wearing white t-shirts, jeans and sneakers.

In related news, the date is quickly approaching during which Miley will be releasing her new autobiography, “Miles to Go,” which is set to appear in bookstores on March 10.

While few details have been released as of yet, the book will chronicle the life of the Disney starlet and her rise to fame.

According to a source close to Miley, the Disney sensation wants to seal her relationship by getting a tattoo of Justin’s initials. Apparently, the teen has drawn her own design for her first tattoo, which is a heart with the letters 'J' and 'G'. She's previously worn a temporary tattoo in a similar configuration.

Since Miley is only 16, she needs parental permission but it has yet to happen. “She’s trying to play her mom, Tish, against her dad to get one of them to agree to the tattoo”, a source has revealed.

LOS ANGELES special for MTV. I had a lot of fun today with — The “Miley-Sized Surprise” New Year’s eve show is officially wrapped — and it was spectacular! Right now, it’s Wednesday night and I’m in a car on my way to LAX to catch the red-eye flight back to NYC in time to host the “Engaged and Underaged: The Bridal Bowl Special”Miley Cyrus, the kids of Beckman High School in Irvine, California, and of course the real star of the show: Alison Kaprielian. The entire show was centered around Alison, whose mother was sadly diagnosed with cancer a few years ago. As well as juggling her school work, her social life and supporting her mother through her treatment, Alison volunteered for the Pink Ribbon Club, an organization targeted at teens that raises money for and spreads awareness of the fight against breast cancer. Alison also happens to be one of the biggest Miley fans ever, so when Miley turned up at her house unexpectedly this morning for an intimate and impromptu performance in her kitchen — Alison was overwhelmed, to say the least!

It didn’t stop there. Miley surprised Alison throughout the day with makeovers for her and her mother, and recorded one of those famous YouTube videos with her and Miley’s best friend Mandy Jiroux. We also flew in Alison’s best friend from Georgia, threw a monster surprise party in Alison’s honor and invited the entire high school for the huge Miley performance that closed out the night. And Pepsi made a big donation to the Pink Ribbon Club. It was really an amazing night — Alison and her family were so grateful.

As for Miley, she is without doubt one of the biggest sensations of the past decade, and it’s easy to see why: She’s an amazing character. She’s like a ball of energy who’s always singing or dancing or joking around. She was definitely having a lot of fun on the show, and it was kind of infectious. She’s a lot of fun to be around and undoubtedly one of my favorite co-hosts ever: I’m officially a fan of the girl’s swagger! She’s a mean keyboard player as well, and believe it or not, she’s even experimenting a little bit with hip-hop. Nothing serious — just a bit of fun, but don’t say I didn’t warn you if you see Miley doing the rap thing in the future. And I’ve got to say, her song “See You Again” is bloody great!

So that’s New Year’s Eve in L.A. wrapped. The show was a big success — but no time to celebrate. I’m at the airport now, got to catch my flight and head to good old New York. The clock will hit midnight while I’m in the air. I’ve never been on a plane on New Year’s Eve before, but I guess it’ll be a new experience. The source estimates that Cyrus, 16, and her team of dancers and musicians will receive "close to $1 million" to perform at tonight's exclusive bash.

A member of pop group the Cheetah Girls is taking legal action after raunchy photos of the Disney star were stolen from her laptop.

Adrienne Eliza Bailon (born October 24, 1983) is an American singer, actress, songwriter. She was a part of the former girl group trio 3LW, and is a current member of The Cheetah Girls with Kiely Williams and Sabrina Bryan as part of the actual group, and as an actress in Disney Channel Original Movie of the same name and latter sequels which brought the latter group to prominence.

Adrienne Bailon, one of the three Cheetah Girls who has starred in several hit movies with the girl group, is fuming after the racy snaps were leaked online.

The photos were allegedly taken as an anniversary present for the 25-year-old's boyfriend Robert Kardashian, and show the star posing nude in a hotel room.

A rep for Bailon said the star was "absolutely distraught".

"It's not a scenario where she purposely leaked the photos for attention. This was never really expected."

In a statement through her spokesman, Bailon apologised to fans.

"The photos that have surfaced of Adrienne Bailon were stolen from her laptop over a week ago at an airport in NY and sent to several media outlets.

"These photos were taken in private. Adrienne will be pursuing legal action against the person or persons sending these private photos out.

"She is deeply sorry for any pain this may have caused to her fans".

The scandal comes after several raunchy photo scandals involving Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus and High School Musical actress Vanessa Hudgens.

Cyrus was involved in a controversial "topless" photo spread in Vanity Fair magazine, and Hudgens has had several nude photos leaked online.

Miley Cyrus has announced she’ll return for a few more episodes of her hit Disney cable show, “Hannah Montana,” and then she tackles another Disney project — a sequel to the Chicago-set 1987 comedy “Adventures in Babysitting.”

Adventures in Babysitting is a 1987 comedy film written by David Simkins, directed by Chris Columbus, and starring Elisabeth Shue, Bradley Whitford, Maia Brewton, Anthony Rapp, Penelope Ann Miller, Keith Coogan, and a brief cameo by blues singer/guitarist Albert Collins. Although it is set in Oak Park and Chicago, Illinois, with much of the action taking place in the city itself, the movie was filmed primarily in Toronto.

Fellow tween star Raven Symone will co-star in the sequel, currently titled “Further Adventures in Babysitting.” The movie is set for a 2010 release.

According to Variety, Tiffany Paulsen (“Nancy drew”) is writing the script.

The original “Adventures” starred Elisabeth Shue as a suburban Chicago high school senior whose dull night of babysitting is interrupted by a call for help from a friend. Madcap misadventures ensue. (Our favorite bit part: a young Vincent D'Onofrio as “Thor.”)

Though the film was set in Oak Park and Chicago, much of the filming was done in Toronto.

Even though Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus has been celebrating her 16th birthday for the better part of months now, she actually turns 16 tomorrow and like many other teens her age, she's excited by the prospect of becoming a licensed driver.

Unlike some of her contemporaries, Miley is pretty confident about her ability to drive. Cyrus recently said, "If you know how to ride a horse, you
can definitely drive a car."

In other non-driving, non-16th birthday Miley Cyrus news, her latest animated film Bolt, in which she voices the role of Penny opened in American theaters yesterday. She is also considering releasing a country album sometime in the future.

Miley Cyrus Scandal: Miley Cyrus' 16th birthday party at Disneyland!!

Miley Cyrus' 16th birthday party was more boisterous than sweet. Cyrus celebrated the hallmark birthday at an over-the-top Disneyland celebration Sunday — even though she doesn't actually turn 16 until Nov. 23. The theme park was closed for the supersized soiree, which included a four-song performance by the teen queen and a fireworks display above Sleeping Beauty Castle and 16 giant inflatable candles.

"Miley is really hard to surprise," her father Billy Ray Cyrus said at the event.

Organizers estimated over 5,000 people attended the special party, which cost $250 a ticket. On the event's purple carpet — that's Cyrus' favorite color — the "Hannah Montana" star bragged that her parents bought her a new puppy for her birthday. What else does Cyrus want for her birthday? A new car? Perhaps a later curfew?

"My parents shut down Disneyland for me, so I'm good for a while," Cyrus said.

Cyrus' father opened up for his daughter with a few of his own songs, including "Achy Breaky Heart." His daughter donned a white ruffled skirt and jersey-like vest with "Sweet 16" printed on the back for her truncated concert. At one point, Cyrus boarded a boat in the park's Rivers of America and crooned such tunes as "Breakout" and "G.N.O."

Throughout the evening, several popular attractions, such as Big Thunder Mountain and Pirates of the Caribbean, remained open to partygoers. Additional activities, like receiving a "Hannah Montana" makeover and playing the upcoming Disney Interactive Studios rhythm video game "Ultimate Band," were also made available to attendees.

Partygoers ogled celebrities roaming around the park throughout the party. David Archuleta and his entourage skipped the line to ride Space Mountain. Jennie Garth and her family ducked out before the fireworks display capping the celebration. Other stars in attendance included Steve Carell, Cindy Crawford, Tyra Banks and Jennifer Love Hewitt.

Disney used the event to promote their upcoming "What Will You Celebrate?" marketing initiative, which encourages tourists to take "celebration vacations" with their families. Beginning in 2009, guests at Disneyland and Walt Disney World in Florida can gain free theme park admission on their birthday with a valid ID and proof of birth date.

Over at Disney's California Adventure, Disneyland's sister theme park, an entirely different celebration was occurring during the Sweet 16 event: the 11th annual Gay Days Anaheim, an unofficial gathering of gays and lesbians at the Disneyland Resort. Event producer Jeffrey Epstein said Cyrus' affair didn't conflict with Gay Days Anaheim.

"We're happy to share our big weekend with Miley," said Epstein. "While it may be a small world after all, we think it's big enough for both groups to have a blast."
